Monaco in Pictures
Monaco is a gem of the Mediterranean, known for its glitz, glamour, and stunning scenery. Although small, this tiny country is packed with sights and experiences that will hold beautiful memories for a lifetime! Here are my favourite snapshots and moments from my time exploring Monaco.
Monte Carlo Casino
Arguably one of the most famous casinos in the world, the Monte Carlo Casino is a must-see when visiting Monaco. The casino opened its doors in 1863, transforming Monte Carlo into a glamorous destination for the elite. Even if you’re not a gambler, visiting the casino is an experience in itself. Its marble floors, gold-plated fixtures, and stunning frescoes are works of art. Beautiful gardens surround the casino, which are also destined to be explored and admired!

Overlooking Monaco’s harbour
Monaco’s harbour, Port Hercule, is another sight that makes for a picture-perfect moment. The harbour is filled with some of the most luxurious yachts in the world, showcasing the country’s renowned wealth. Take a stroll along the harbour to soak up the views of these impressive vessels with the backdrop of Monaco’s dramatic hills and skyline. For the best views, take a stroll to the Prince’s Palace located on the cliffs above.

Home to F1 – Monumental statues
Monaco is synonymous with Formula 1, and if you’re a fan, you’ll instantly recognize sections of the famous Monaco Grand Prix circuit. One of the key landmarks is the Grand Prix de Monaco statue in the heart of the city, which pays tribute to this iconic race. Statues of famous F1 legends can be found around Monaco, along with plaques commemorating key moments in the race’s history.

Oceanographic Museum
I had so much fun during my visit to the Oceanographic Museum and learnt so much in the process! This magnificent museum sits atop a cliff with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean. Founded by Prince Albert I in 1910, the museum is one of the world’s oldest aquariums and is home to a fascinating array of marine life, including sharks, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs. In my opinion, the Oceanographic Museum is definitely worth a visit and you can read my post about this unique oceanarium here.

Monaco in Pictures – Round up
I would highly recommend a trip to the beautiful country of Monaco. However, be aware that there isn’t too much to do in this petite country so I personally feel that a day trip is more than enough time to fully grasp the luxury of Monaco.
