Welcome to my travel missions page! Here, you’ll find the exciting ‘missions’ that I’m currently working on. Each mission is a way for me to push myself further, explore new places, and experience life to the fullest.

✈️ 40 Countries Before 40

I’ve set myself the challenge of visiting 40 countries before I hit the big 4-0! While I’ve already reached my original goal of 30 countries before 30, I had the best time completing this mission, which is why I’m continuing the adventure and making my way towards this next milestone. Travel is a huge passion of mine and I truly believe that we should all be travelling as much as possible and immersing ourselves in the unique, rich culture that can be found in each country. For me, this mission isn’t just about ticking countries off a list, it’s about stepping out of my comfort zone, immersing myself in new cultures, learning, and growing along the way.

Travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer

I particularly resonate with the above quote and feel that it perfectly describes the richness of travelling to new places. Travel is a unique kind of investment. While it may cost money upfront, the memories, experiences, and the deep sense of fulfilment it brings are priceless.

🏔️ Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro

One of my biggest challenges yet: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. As someone who loves nature, the idea of standing above the clouds, immersed in the peace and tranquillity of the mountain, has filled me with excitement. I can confirm that it was as magical as I expected it to be! It was a kind of calmness that I’ve never experienced before. This challenge wasn’t just about the physical feat; it has been an opportunity to push my limits and raise funds for Fowler’s Syndrome UK. I’m deeply grateful for all of the extremely generous donations and please be assured that it’s not too late to donate!

✨ Visiting the 7 Wonders of the World

From the ancient marvels of Petra to the heights of Machu Picchu, I’m on a mission to visit the 7 Wonders of the World.

I’ve always dreamed of seeing as much of the world as possible, but for a long time, travelling beyond Europe seemed like an impossible goal. That was until I found inspiration in the incredible travel stories of others, and now I believe that I too can venture further afield. To push myself and keep myself motivated, I have set a goal to visit all 7 Wonders of the World.

I have already explored the Colosseum and Petra, which were both incredible and has left me eager to explore more of the world’s wonders. I’m particularly excited about visiting Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu looks unbelievably stunning in pictures, so I can only imagine the sense of amazement that I will feel seeing it in person. Not to mention that I’m a big fan of hiking so I’m especially excited to get stuck in!
