👋 Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve created a series of ‘travel missions’ to inspire me to explore as much of the world as possible. Travel has always been a huge passion of mine, so I’ve made sure to create missions that I’m genuinely excited to complete!

Why did I begin these missions?
As a keen traveller with a 9-5 job, I am always in search of the best travel options to help me explore the world around my current responsibilities. As I’m sure you’re aware, travelling on a budget and with time constraints is not an easy task!
I originally started my travel blog to document my travels. By doing this, I have also been able to help aspiring travellers navigate the challenges of balancing travel with work, life responsibilities, and other constraints. As someone who faces these challenges firsthand, I have learnt that travel doesn’t have to be sacrificed, even with a busy schedule or tight commitments. I personally have found that by setting myself these travel missions, I am motivated to keep up my passion of travelling and exploring new cultures, without feeling guilt or feeling like I am sacrificing other areas of my life goals.
Through my blog, I share practical tips, time management strategies, and personal experiences to show that it is possible to explore the world without putting life on hold. Alongside my personal travel missions, my main and most important mission is to inspire others to embrace travel as a part of their lives, no matter their circumstances.
My Purpose
I’m here to make travel more inclusive, more meaningful, and more human. I believe travel can challenge stereotypes, build empathy, and connect us to something bigger than ourselves. My blog is where I share that journey through honest stories, cultural insights, and a deep respect for the world and everyone in it.
My Background with European Travel
I originally started my travel missions with the idea to travel all over the world, but due to living in the UK and being locked down for 2 years around 2020, I quickly realised that I would have to utilise European travel in order to reach my goals of visiting a certain number of countries before a certain age. The UK has great connections to Europe which is why I knew that this would be the most feasible option without having to put my travel dreams on hold.
In doing this, I have discovered the most incredible European cities that would have likely been pushed to the bottom of my bucket list if I had the means to travel further afield. For this, I am incredibly grateful because I have been able to witness the most incredible and stunning scenery in Montenegro and I have also discovered the coolest and most vibrant city: Bucharest, which has quickly become my favourite city break destination!
Now that travelling further afield is feasible again, I have been able to branch out with my travel goals and you will begin noticing more destinations from other continents within this blog. Although, this is not to say that I am done with Europe, as there are still so many European countries that I have yet to visit! My European adventures may take a back step for a little while but I really advise everybody who is reading this to embrace the array of cultures that you will find within Europe and the various, awe-inspiring countries that belong to this continent.
On that note, I have highlighted my current Top 5 European countries that I truly believe you should be in a rush to visit.
My Top European destinations to inspire your next trip
- 📍Bulgaria – I visited Bulgaria for my 28th country and will never forget how at peace I felt. The food was some of the best that I’ve tasted and the locals were super friendly. Bulgaria is also the perfect budget-friendly destination and here you can find travel guides on how to spend your time in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia.
- 📍Estonia – I can’t stop thinking about my time in this medieval haven! Tallinn’s unique charm and stunning architecture left me in awe. The coffee scene is amazing, and I’m already planning my next trip to explore even more of this beautiful country.
- 📍France – Being neighbours, I’m lucky to visit France often! Nice is my favourite spot, with its stunning beaches and vibrant culture. When in Nice, I would highly recommend a day trip to Monaco. A luxurious playground that won’t disappoint.
- 📍Italy – Ah, Italy! It feels like home every time I visit. I can’t explain why, but each trip is filled with joy and unforgettable experiences. Pisa holds a special place in my heart, and I’ve got all the details on where to eat, what to see, and why you should fall in love with Italy just like I did.
- 📍Montenegro – Right now, Montenegro is my absolute favourite! The breathtaking views are something you must see for yourself. This country has captured my heart, especially since I got engaged here! I’ve shared all the must-visit spots and local secrets to help you make the most of your time in this stunning destination.
- 📍Romania – I didn’t expect to love Romania as much as I did! Bucharest is genuinely one of the coolest cities that I have visited and it blew me away with its cool vibe and rich culture.
