Azul Beach Resort Negril: A Heavenly Retreat
Upon arriving at Azul Beach Resort Negril, my senses were immediately captivated by the beauty that surrounded me. The stunning palm trees, the invigorating ocean breeze, and the warm Jamaican sun welcomed me to a world of serenity and bliss. Azul Beach resort is an enchanting resort that sits along the seven mile beach, which is one of the most beautiful and calming beaches that I have ever had the pleasure to visit. I would often find myself waking up early just to take a walk to the beachfront and admire the gorgeous sunset. Something that made these morning trips particularly special, was the amount of wildlife that we encountered. Each morning we would watch pelicans fish for their morning breakfast and when we were taking our morning dips in the sea, we were often joined by a variety of different coloured star fish and some inquisitive fish.
Azul Beach Resort – Free Activities
One of the highlights of my stay at Azul Beach Resort Negril was the variety of free non-motorised water activities available to guests. From kayaking along the tranquil waters to paddle boarding under the radiant sun, every moment spent on the Carribbean sea was a thrilling adventure. The calm waves provided the perfect backdrop for creating unforgettable memories and embracing the true essence of the Caribbean spirit.
Alongside the free non-motorised sports, there was an array of watersports for an additional fee. This included snorkelling, boat trips and tubing. We decided to partake in snorkelling and whilst I was a little nervous, as I am not a confident swimmer, the boat captain Martin soon put me at ease and helped to ensure that I was comfortable in the water. The experience was incredible and we saw lots of exotic fish and we even managed to spot an octopus, which was a surreal sight!
Resort amenities
As well as non-motorised water activities being included in the all inclusive package, there were lots of amazing perks to this package, including the many swim-up bars serving some incredible cocktails. Not to mention the various restaurants located throughout the hotel. My personal favourite was the Asian restaurant which served a mixture of sushi, noodles and other delicious authentic cuisine. The all-inclusive package not only offered a wide variety of delectable dishes but also included a daily restock of the room’s mini fridge, ensuring that our cravings were always satisfied.
One afternoon, my fiancé Chris had the luxury of being treated to a fresh coconut picked straight from the tree and prepared by one of the many friendly staff. This is just one of the many examples of the incredible service provided throughout the hotel, as well as the freshness of products used.
Group Activities
There are multiple activities that take place throughout the hotel, including beach volleyball, boccia and arranged cooking classes, alongside evening entertainment. One of my favourite events from our stay was the foam party which took place in one of the multiple pools and provided an afternoon of pure entertainment. The staff work extremely hard to ensure that everybody has a good time during their stay and their hard work does not go unnoticed.
The incredible and hospitable employees
A noticeable highlight of this hotel is all of the incredible and friendly staff who work there and offer a welcoming smile to make you feel fully at ease in paradise. During our stay, a particularly heartwarming moment unfolded when Chris experienced a bit too much sun exposure. In a moment of need, Keneatha, a lovely and kind employee at the resort, came to our rescue with a thoughtful gesture. She graciously provided aloe vera from her hometown to soothe Chris’ burn, demonstrating a level of care and kindness that truly elevated our experience. Keneatha’s genuine act of compassion exemplified the warmth and hospitality that defined our time at Azul Beach Resort Negril.
Throughout our stay, the staff at Azul Beach Resort Negril went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction was met. From the friendly greetings at every turn to the prompt and attentive service, every interaction left us feeling valued and appreciated. Special thanks to Keneatha for her exceptional care, Keewe for the fun activities, Martin for the incredible snorkeling experience and to all the staff members who contributed to making our stay truly memorable. Their dedication and kindness created an atmosphere of genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home.
